We have seen many such scenes of time travel using quantum physics in comics and movies. But the question is whether this is actually possible. A lot of people say yes, but it's just a story. Albert Einstein described quantum technology as "Spooky Action."The government of India has shown interest in this quantum technology. India has announced the National Quantum mission to become quantum-powerful and more advanced in this technology. The Union Cabinet has also allocated Rs 6,003 crore for the project.
The government of India has set a target of developing 1000 qubit quantum computers in the next eight years under the NQM project. This quantum computer is going to be a hundred times more powerful than mine-not your computer or laptop. It will be created according to the "quantum mechanics" of physics. Initially, the research capacity will be 50-100 qubits and gradually it will be increased to 1000 qubit quantum computers. By the way, the project was announced only in the budget of 2020. At that time, the term of the project was fixed at 5 years by the Modi government. The budget was higher. The same target has been announced to be reached at a lower cost than in April this year.
In simple terms, quantum computers are at least 100 million times faster than the performance of ordinary computers. Technology that is virtually impossible to hack. Through this, the research and analysis of any information is possible in a more accurate and secure manner. This method of computing would be most useful in various disciplines of superconducting and Photonic Technologies. The goal of quantum technology is to create better and faster computers.
Only six countries in the world are working on quantum technology. Along with the US, France, China, Canada, Austria and Finland. India is the seventh country to do so. According to part of the experts, despite the risks, New Delhi had to do this study to reduce western dependence on quantum computing. This will make India stronger on the world map.
However, one of the claims of Russian, American and Swiss scientists after researching quantum technologies made quite a noise. They demanded that in a quantum world, different forms of information of any animal or object match. Which is completely opposite in the real world. That is, in reality, an animal can be alive or dead. But, in quantum there is no specific form of the corresponding animal, that is, whether the same animal in the concept of quantum can be alive or dead - both.
