• ChatGPT's MBA Exam

The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania is known for its rigorous MBA program, with one of the most challenging exams in the world. ChatGPT, an AI system, recently took the MBA exam and performed exceptionally well in the Operations Management course which is considered as the core subject of MBA.

A professor by the name of Christian Terweske published a paper on ChatGPT's performance in an MBA exam. In the paper, he stated that ChatGPT's performance was equivalent to receiving a grade of B or B+. The professor also emphasized the significant implications of chatbots for business school education and suggests that MBA examination policies, curriculum design, and teaching methods should be reevaluated.

While ChatGPT excels in its choice of words, being concise and well-structured, the professor notes that it struggles with math. The professor added, “I was impressed by the chatbot's language abilities, but its math skills are lacking.”

According to the Financial Times, the Dean of Imperial College London's Business School stated, “We held serious discussions in a working group about ChatGPT and other similar tools, considering both the benefits and drawbacks. While students are utilizing this technology, it is essential to evaluate its impact on a larger scale. A policy on the use of such chatbots will be formulated soon.”
